MKomix Comic Fair

I will hopefully be attending the MKomix comic fair at the MK Gallery in Central Milton Keynes tomorrow evening.  I say hopefully, because I still have a very bad back and an even worse right leg, thanks to two prolapsed discs, one of which is pressing on a nerve that runs down my leg to my foot and has left me unable to drive since February and unable to walk more than a very short distance since April.  I did have some steroid injections in my back last Monday, which were supposed to bring down the inflammation in my discs, stop the pain and enable them to heal, but so far they don’t seem to have worked (I was told that they could take up to four weeks to work, so they may still do the job, but I think I should have had at least some relief by now).  Still, this seems like it is going to be a really good event, so I am going to drag myself out of my sick bed and go along anyway.  My wife is driving, so all I have to do is endure two hours in the car each way and three hours sitting behind a table in agony.  The guest list is impressive, so it should be worth it (check out the other attendees here).  I will be sharing a table with Rol ‘Too Much Sex & Violence’ Hirst and will be bringing along copies of all my comics and a drawing pad / pencils / pens, in case anyone wants a sketch.  I would rather sketch my own characters, but if you are going to ask me to draw Venom, which happened at the last event I attended, at least buy one of my comics afterwards, otherwise I'll just end up feeling like a twat again.
